Meet 4/C Josh Nerring, a Facilities Engineering major from the Sunshine State! Josh calls Panama City home. Panama City is located on St. Andrews Bay in the Florida panhandle. He attended Tyndall Elementary School, Merritt Brown Middle School, and A.C. Moseley High School.
As a Florida native, Josh is thrilled that today is Departure Day. He is not only excited to be beginning, his first Sea Term, he is relieved that he can escape the harsh New England winter.
Josh’s proud mom Sharon recalls, “He comes from a long line of ocean lovers, both grandfathers, parents, uncles and cousins. The photos are from Mexico Beach and Panama City, Florida where Josh lived since he was two. He loved family outings on the boat. He especially loved falling asleep while running out to out spot and coming home.”
Josh is majoring in Facilities Engineering.
Josh is excited that four schools from his home state of Florida will be participating in the Follow The Voyage - Share The Experience Program. It will be great having students from Pembroke Pines, Sebastian, Summerfield, and Tavernier participate in Sea Term 2019. Josh is hoping that his family and friends will turn out when the TS Kennedy docks in Miami, Florida next month.
Bon voyage, Josh!
