Join cadets majoring in International Maritime Business on a three-week adventure in Singapore. Cadets will visit one of the world’s busiest ports and speak with experts in the shipping industry. They’ll learn about a wide variety of topics such as port security, cargo planning and stowage, maritime insurance, and sustainability.
Leading the cadets will be Dr. Bani Ghosh. She completed her Master's degree in Economics from Jadavpur University in Calcutta, India and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Victoria University in Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests include study of demand estimation and pricing issues of large queuing facilities such as ports, economic principles of maritime trade and changes in trading patterns and the shore side aspects of shipping business.
The cadets depart for Singapore on Friday, January 11th. The cadets return to the United States on Sunday, February 2nd. Don’t miss a single minute of their trip!
