Almost home! TS Kennedy's "Dream Team" has kept us informed and entertained during Sea Term 2018. Well-done, Sara, Little Buc & Big Buc!
Field Day Cleaning
Since today is the last full day of Sea Term, cadets are busy with field day cleaning. Cadet Chief Mate, 1/C Paige Mentuck explained the plan made by her and Regimental Cruise Commander, 1/C Dan Haun, as well as Cadet Chief Engineer, 1/C Alex Zimmerman. Divisions 1 & 4 are on maintenance, Division 3 is on watch and Division 2 is on utility.
Today is a big cleaning day so the entire regiment of cadets, less those on watch, are assigned to a cleaning crew. The engineers are going to be focusing on certain areas like the engine training space, engine room, and the machine shop. The Deckies will focus on the navigation labs, classrooms, and the Seatorium. For the first time in a while, majority of cadets finally have cell service. The Chief Mate was very clear with her instructions that no one should be on their phones. The temptation will be there for cadets. We’ll see if anyone risks it.
Questions for Cadets
Everyone is busy with cleaning and there is no work going on so I decided to ask around and get some answers from cadets.
