Today we toured a geothermal power plant and I thought it was extremely interesting.
They first drill holes into the earth to collect the steam and water from underground.
Then the superheated steam travels through the tubes and is separated into liquid and vapor states.
The vapor steam is then used to turn the turbines which powers and generator and creates electricity!
We also toured Ad Astra and learned about their use of plasma as fuel for their new engine!
We ended our night with a BBQ and music by the pool at EARTH University and sang Happy Birthday to our tour guide, Ricardo!
